It's Business As Usual in Singapore!
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Christine

Business as Usual in Shops & Travel Spots

Unlike in many parts of the western world, not everybody shuts down on Christmas Day in Singapore.

The major attractions - such as the Zoo and Sentosa Island - are open as per normal. So are the malls, except for Christian-managed Tangs Superstore.

Christmas Day Champagne Buffets

If you love food, look out for the amazing buffets offered by the hotels in town - brunch, lunch, high tea, dinner and everything in between!

Here are my favourite buffets in Singapore.

Christmas Day Concert on Orchard Road

On Christmas Day, a large section of the Orchard Road shopping belt is made pedestrian-only.

There are performances at various locations. But the main concert - comprising drama, caroling, magic shows and the like - usually takes place at the junction of Orchard Road-Bideford Road.
