Singapore Transit Visas and Hotels
by JaN
(Cebu, Philippines)
This is my first time to travel, and I will be stopping in Singapore for a night before my next flight to Australia. I wanted to sleep comfortably in a hotel preferably near the airport for convenience. Do I need a transit visa? Thank You!
Hi JaN
If you are on a short transit, you could use the Transit Hotels within the main terminals of Singapore Airport.
(I'm assuming you are using a full-service airline and not a budget airline.)
In this way, you don't even need to leave the transit area of the airport.
Philippines passport holders generally do not need a visa to enter Singapore. But I'm not the official voice to advice you on visas. To ascertain your visa status, follow the steps outlined on this page about Singapore entry requirements.
