Singapore Airport's Got Great Food Courts

Hi James

how about trying the food courts at the Airport. They offer authentic Singapore food and you get a glimpse of what the locals eat on a regular basis.

Terminal 1 Food Court:
Departure Hall Level (1F). Look for Burger King. Then, take the exit between the Burger King dining area and the toilets. Once out of the building, you descend a flight of staircase to the food court.

Terminal 3 Food Court:
This one is found at Basement 2 and is newer. Offers a wonderful range of very 'Singaporean' dishes.

Canteen at Terminal One

The best deal in the place is the Staff Canteen in the basement of Terminal One (B1 or B2? - forget). It's a food court, too. Warning! Very simple place. Sort of noisy because working people - mechanics, refuelers, stewardesses, check-in people, etc. are all eating here all hours of the day and night.

Food stalls are varied, and have two prices: one for airport staff & another price for visitors. Both very low.

Food is good and you can choose what you want. Not as relaxed as upstairs where tourists are eating, but much less costly .
