When you're visiting Singapore, make sure to stop by some of these top Cafes to experience the surrounding culture that will make your stay much more fulfilled. Soaking up the Singaporean atmosphere with a delicious espresso and maybe a bite to eat will never get boring, especially at these top rated Coffee Shops.

Jewel Coffee

Jewel Coffee has become a very successful, popular, and hip coffee shop that provides much more than just coffee. They will be able to get you eggs, pastas, and much more and at the same time, produces a unique and friendly atmosphere. It is located in the Central Business District at 1 Shenton way. If you're looking to check out some of the locals, make sure and visit during lunch time. It is known to be busy and full of life while everyone is taking a break from work.

Kith Cafe

This Cafe is well known for its own distinct blend of coffee with a rich and deep flavor. It also has a great breakfast menu, provides many different types of sandwiches throughout the day, and uses their own original recipes for their baked goods and pastries. You have the option to sit outside of the cafe to enjoy the local weather and get to know Singapore better, but it can be quite hot during the scorching times of the day, so be careful. It is located at 9 Penang Road and is open from 8 AM to 10 PM.

Jimmy Monkey Cafe & Bar

This is an Australian style Cafe that is located along the Dover road, surrounded with beautiful greenery provided by the One North Residences. This has become a highly frequented Coffee Shop that provides a full integrated bar and lounge. It houses a laid back and casual type of atmosphere that has known to be quiet for those people who are working or studying while enjoying their cup of coffee. They also are highly rated for their food, which includes a wide variety of foods. They open at 8:30 AM, and close at 8:30 PM on weekdays but stay open until 10:30 on Friday and Saturday.

Oriole Coffee

All coffee addicts within Singapore know about Oriole Coffee due to its amazing variety of top quality coffee. The owners won a Singapore National Barista Championship and have since been able to make an array of different specials to offer their customers. Located in a back alley in the Jiak Chuan Road, it provides a quiet easy going environment that is perfect for anyone who is looking to enjoy their coffee in peace.?

Smitten Coffee and Tea Bar

This is an excellent place to sit back and enjoy a wide variety of drinks with your friends or family. It is located by a river and has a cute design to it. While they don't have to many food options, it is made up for by the premium teas and coffee they offer. They are located at 60 Robertson Quay and open 10 AM to 20 PM on the weekdays, and 9 AM to 11 PM on the weekends.

Strangers Reunion

Don't let the name throw you off, this top quality cafe can offer some of the best coffee in Singapore. Its owners won the Singapore National Barista Championship 3 years in a row from 2011 to 2013 and continues to come up with great and innovative coffee ideas. It is also expanding its location due to their popularity by taking ownership to a neighboring unit and combining the two together, making it one of the best choices if you plan to have a group of friends with you. It is located at 37 Kampong Bahru Road and is open from 9 AM to 10 PM every day, except it is closed Tuesdays.

40 Hands

As an Australian style Coffee Shop, it focuses on sustainable produced specialty coffee, Direct Trade, and Stocking Fair Trade coffee beans. It is a top choice for people looking to drink their coffee with some simple comfort foods such as toasties, sandwiches, and hot dogs, while they are on break or just looking for a quick caffeine fix. They are located at 78 Yong Siak Street and are open from 8 AM to 7 PM on Tuesdays through Thursdays, 8 AM to 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 8 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. Closed on Mondays.?

Toby's Estate

Another Australian style Cafe that is involved with every process of their coffee, From buying directly from farmers, to quality assurance, roasting processes, and then serving it to their customers. This establishment is known to be able to house large parties of people, so if you plan to have a social event at a coffee shop in Singapore, this is a great place to start looking. Located at 8 Rodyk Street #01-03/04, it is open every day from 7:30 AM to 6 PM.

Chye Seng Huat Hardware

This is a unique and fun Coffee shop that doesn't really seem to be all the interesting from the outside. It seems to be an old, run down hardware store from the outside, but once you take a peek inside you will notice a dramatic difference. It is considered to be one of the best spots in Singapore by many locals and has a large regular customer base. It is located near the Lavender Food Centre at 150 Tyrwhitt Road and is open from 9 AM to 7 PM Tuesdays to Thursdays, and 9 AM to 10 PM Fridays to Sundays.

There are plenty of other coffee shops in Singapore that will provide an amazing experience, but these should get you headed in the right direction. Don't forget to soak up as much culture as you can when exploring the thriving lands of Singapore. Make it a goal to try and hit a certain number of cafes while you're in Singapore to get a real feeling of how the locals enjoy their drinks and spend their time.
