Alternative Singapore Airport Hotel

Hi - are there any other hotels within very near proximity of Singapore Airport other than the Crowne Plaza Hotel Changi Airport? I just need to stay one night and fly at 0845 next day, so I want to be on site.

HOTELS IN/NEAR SINGAPORE AIRPORT

If you are looking for an alternative Singapore airport hotel, here are a few options:

WITHIN SINGAPORE AIRPORT

The Transit Hotel (http://athmg.com) located within the transit area of Singapore Airport offers rooms from S$58++ for an initial 6-hour block.

To use this hotel, you should go straight to the hotel upon touch down. After your stay, you clear immigration and collect your checked in baggage from the Lost & Found counter.

If you are arriving at the Budget Terminal, it's not possible to use the Transit Hotel.

10-15 MINUTES FROM SINGAPORE AIRPORT

1. Changi Village Hotel

The Changi Village Hotel is located in a quiet location in Changi Village. Some of their rooms face the sea towards Ubin Island.

The hotel is also very near the fabulous Changi Boardwalk, which is great for an evening stroll.

2. Grand Mercure Hotel on East Coast Road

The Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel is located in Katong, a nice heritage precinct with many round-the-clock eateries.

Both the Changi Village Hotel and the Grand Mercure Hotel offer complimentary shuttle service to and from Changi Airport.

CITY HOTELS?

Do also consider a cheap hotel in downtown Singapore. Ours is really a very small island - it doesn't take long to travel from the city to the airport.

Moreover, taxis cruise round-the-clock in Singapore. Even if you can't flag one down, you can always get your city hotel to call one for you - at a booking fee of between S$3 to S$5.
