Tips for This Singapore Tour

For Senior Citizens

  1. It is possible to do less walking on this Singapore tour:

    • Upon arrival at the Botanic Gardens, go straight to the National Orchid Garden and ignore the rest. The National Orchid Garden is probably the most interesting feature of the Gardens.

    • At the Night Safari, take the tram round the park (additional cost). Get down at the East Lodge to see the animal exhibits there, which are easily reached by walking.

For Families with Young Children

  1. Is there a better way to occupy your children at the Botanic Gardens? Yes, take them to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden. There are lots of play areas. The kids will have a blast.

To reach Jacob Ballas, enter the Gardens from Bukit Timah Road. Tell the taxi driver to turn on Kheam Hock Road, up the NUS Bukit Timah Campus. Jacob Ballas is right up there.
