Which Terminal Does Singapore Airlines Use?

by Christine Ramsay

What terminal do I go to for a Singapore Airlines flight to Perth from London? Who gives me the boarding pass? Are the terminals far apart?
I have a one hour and 45 minute stopover.

SIA Uses Terminals 2 & 3 at Singapore Airport
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Christine

Which Terminal SIA?

Singapore Airlines uses Terminals 2 and 3 at Singapore Changi Airport.

Flights to the UK and Australia depart from Terminal 3.

So you're likely to arrive at Changi Terminal 3. However, it seems that the airport has a caveat: the arriving terminal for any flight is confirmed only a couple of hours before touch-down.

When a plane lands, an airport staff usually directs transiting passengers to the gates for their onward flights.

Who gives me the boarding pass?

The boarding passes for both segments for your flight are usually issued together when you check-in at London Airport.

Are the terminals far apart?

All 3 main terminals at Changi are inter-connected. You may commute between terminals using the Skytrain in the transit area. No long walks or complicated bus transfers.
