Electronic Dictionaries at Sim Lim Square
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi there
the brand of electronic dictionary commonly used in Singapore is called 'Besta'. The main languages in their dictionaries are English and Chinese. But I believe they have versions for Japanese as well.

Besta's electronic dictionaries are sold in many shopping malls and retail chains in Singapore, including Popular Bookshops, Mustafa Centre and Challenger.

So you need not go all the way down to Sim Lim Square to buy your electronic dictionary. But I found out that 2 shops at Sim Lim Square do sell electronic dictionaries:

1. Chun Sheng Trading Enterprise (01-26)
2. Perfect Watch and Electronics (01-36)

I suggest you check the price of your desired model with a few shops before buying.
