Transport tip: Bus no. 36 from Singapore Airport stops 100m from the hotel. So if you are travelling light, it's very easy to get to the hotel from the airport by bus.
Food tips:
1. There's a good 24-hour food court on Victoria Street, just a short walk from the hotel in the direction of Bugis Junction. Try the dim sum there.
2. On Level 2 of Bras Basah Complex just across the road, you'll find Tian Jin Restaurant. Try their delicious dumplings with pickled ginger.
Almost every guest mentioned the hotel's strategic location in the city centre.
The rooms at Victoria Hotel may not be very big, but they are adequate. And they make up for it by offering friendly service, and being in a good location close to transport, eateries, and shopping.
