Firstly, the rice is great in taste and aroma. The chicken is tender and nicely cooked. Not to forget about the chilli; the best i ever taste in Singapore! Lastly, the price is cheap!

thanks for letting us know about U House of Chicken Rice.

Sometimes the best local food in Singapore are in these so-called 'heartland' coffee shops / markets/ food centres.

I just wonder what other great food places are hidden in our HDB estates?

MRT to Tiong Bahru; Then Bus to Telok Blangah Rise

Hi Angel

1. Take the MRT to Tiong Bahru MRT Station.

2. Then walk to Lower Delta Road Block 24 and take Bus No. 65 to Lower Delta Road Block 105.

3. Walk to Telok Blangah Rise Blk 36 Food Centre.

If you just want to try Chicken Rice in Singapore, you could check out the famous Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice Restaurant. They have a convenient outlet just above the Boon Keng MRT Station.
