US Dollar Traveller's Cheques
& Money Changers at Singapore Airport

by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Zyggy

There are exchange bureaus (money changers) in both the restricted and public areas of Singapore Changi Airport. They are at prominent locations, so you can't miss them.

They do accept traveller's cheques in the major currencies, including the USD. There is an administrative charge factored into the conversion, so you won't get the face value on your traveller's cheque.

For example, a USD 100 traveller's cheque may yield you, say, USD 9X in notes.
