I plan to fly from Singapore to London with my dog. He weighs about 10kg. What are some of the services available at the airport to allow for a smooth flight for my dog and I?

Travelling with Pets - Arrangements with Airline & Destination Country

Hi Reeta

I don't know how one could travel with a pet. But I do know:

1. you need to make separate arrangements with your airline to take your dog onto the plane. It is not treated as a passenger, nor as luggage!

2a. you need to find out whether your dog needs to be quarantined in the UK,

2b. and if it needs to be quarantined, what documents and procedures have to be in place.

Perhaps, someone who has travelled with a dog could provide more information?
