I am a five member family (2 + 3 children).

1. Transport to Singapore Night Safari

Is train service available from Hotel Rendezvous to Singapore Zoo for Night Safari in the evening? What about coming back from Night safari to Hotel? When is the last transport to the city?

What do you suggest, a taxi or a train? How long it will take to reach the zoo from the said hotel? How much does the taxi charge? Which is comfortable and safe? A taxi, a bus or a train?

2. Transport to Sentosa Cable Car Tower

And also what type of transport is available from the said hotel to Sentosa Island through cable car? How much does it cost? What are the highlights at Sentosa?

Singapore Transport Options

Taxi Capacity

Firstly, a word about taxi capacity. The maximum capacity for a taxi in Singapore is

a. 2 adults + 3 children (under 12 years old), or
b. 3 adults + 2 children.

So to fit into one taxi, no more than one of your children can be above 12 years of age.

(Of course, there are other seating combinations, but the 2 above are ones relevant to you.)

1. Transport to Night Safari

The Singapore Attraction Express (SAE Bus, telephone: +65 6753 0506) plies along the city area and stops to pick up passengers to the Night Safari at specified hotels and on a schedule.

It costs $4 per adult and $2 per child one way.

It passes the Rendevous Hotel at 6.20pm, 7.20pm, and 8.20pm.

This could be an option for you. Check with your hotel for the latest timing for this bus. Allow 45 minutes.

Taxi. A taxi to the Night Safari from your location will cost about $20 at that time of the day. Allow 30 minutes + waiting time.

MRT + Bus. You may also take the MRT from Dhoby Ghaut Station (5 minutes' walk from Hotel Rendevous) to Ang Mo Kio Station, and change to Bus Number 138 to the Night Safari. Allow 1 hr 15 minutes.

2. Returning from Night Safari to the City.

The SAE Bus also make return trips to the city half-hourly from 9.30pm to 11.30pm. Taxis are common if you leave before 11pm. You can also take the bus and MRT back to your hotel.

Don't worry. All the transport options recommended here are all safe ways to travel in Singapore.

Transport to Sentosa Cable Car Tower

I recommend taking the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station to Harbourfront Station. The Harbourfront Cable Car Tower is just 2 buildings away from Harbourfront Station.

FROM NIGHT SAFARI TO CHANGI AIRPORT

How long will the travel take from night safari to changi airport through taxi? and much do you will it cost? By the way were only three ( me, my husband and our daughter )we plan to visit night safari before going home to philippines with departure time of 0020H. do you we can still make it?

YOUR ANSWER WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED....

Arrive at the Night Safari early and leave for the airport by 9.30pm. Taxi fare likely to cost S$25-30.

Don't screw up your departure. It's not worth it.
