Transport to Sentosa Island and Singapore Night Safari

Hi, I would like to know how to go to Sentosa Island and the Night Safari. We will be in Singapore end of this month and we are staying in Hotel 81 Bencoolen. How much is the fare and how to? Please help.

Sentosa by MRT; Night Safari by SAE Bus

Hi Elaine

1. You could of course take the taxi from Hotel 81 Bencoolen:

a. About $10-12 to Sentosa.
b. About $15-20 to Night Safari.

2. But here are cheaper options:

a. To Sentosa Island

i. Take a 10 minute walk to Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station, via Bencoolen Street and Bras Basah Road.

ii. Dhoby Ghaut MRT -> Harbourfront MRT (about $1)

iii. Exit MRT Station. Go to Level 3 of Vivo City Shopping Centre. Take the Sentosa Express ($3)

b. To Night Safari

i. Book a seat with Singapore Attraction Express (SAE bus) via telephone: +65 6753 0506.

($4 per adult; $2 per child one way)

ii. Go to pick up point before 6.20pm, 7.20pm, 8.20pm departures.

- Walk along Bencoolen Street, then Bras Basah Road to Hotel Rendevous.

- Pick up point is at Bus Stop B01 on Princep Street, opposite Hotel Rendevous.

We will be in Singapore this June, we are staying at Fragrance Crystal Hotel in Geylang.

1. How can we go to Sentosa (Universal Studios) by a cheaper ride?

2. From Sentosa how can we go to Night Safari?

Fragrance Hotel Crystal to Sentosa & Night Safari

Fragrance Hotel to Universal Studios Sentosa:

1. MRT from Aljunied -> Outram -> Harbourfront

2. Sentosa Express from Vivo City Shopping Centre Level 3 to Waterfront Station.

Sentosa to Night Safari:

1. Sentosa Express to to Vivo City

2. MRT from Harbourfront to Ang Mo Kio Station.

3. Bus 138 to Night Safari.

(Easier and more time-efficient to take a taxi from Sentosa to Night Safari.)

Taxi: Festive Hotel to Night Safari

Hi

You can definitely take the taxi from Festive Hotel to Singapore Night Safari.

However, there's a surcharge of S$3 for each taxi journey starting from Resorts World Sentosa, which is borne by the passenger.

The trip is likely to cost about S$25-30, assuming you travel during the evening peak hours.

Hi Mims

Take the MRT to Harbourfront Station. Then go next door and take the Sentosa Express from Level 3 of Vivo City Mall.
