Hi, Singapore Air (ticketing) told me about transit stays where you can get a hotel for a time of 9 am to 9pm while transitting through Singapore.

Ambassador Transit Hotel at Singapore Airport

Hi there

I'm not sure if Singapore Airlines has arrangements with other hotels.

But in the transit area of the Singapore Airport, you'll find the Ambassador Transit Hotel. If you plan to use the Transit Hotel, please do not clear customs.

You may book a room for a 6-hour block. Thereafter, you may extend on an hourly basis.

Here are the rates for Ambassador Transit Hotel at Singapore Airport (as of 10 April 2009):

Standard Room (with attached bathroom):

Single: S$58, Twin: S$65, Triple: S$82

Extension: S$13 per hour

Budget Room (common toilets & showers):

Single: S$35

Extension: S$13 per hour

(All rates subject to 10% service charge and 7% GST)

The Ambassador Transit Hotel is accessible from the transit areas of all 3 terminals at Singapore Airport:

Terminal 1: Transit Mall Level 3.

Unfortunately, those arriving at the Singapore Budget Terminal may not use the Ambassador Transit Hotel, unless:

1. You have a connecting flight departing from one of the main terminals.

2. And you are flying with an airline that provides early check-in.
