Transit Hotel and Checked Baggage at Singapore Airport

We are arriving from Darwin via Jetstar at 18.35pm(Terminal 1) and departing Singapore for Bandar Seri Begawan via Royal Brunei Airlines (Terminal 2) next day at 10.25am.

Can we stay at the Transit Hotel overnight and what would happen to our checked baggage?

How do we get our boarding pass for the next day flight?

Procedure for Using Transit Hotel, Collecting Baggage & Checking In Onward Flight

Hi Wendy

1. If you plan on using the Transit Hotel at Singapore Airport, you should go there directly upon touch down at the airport. You'll clear immigration only after your stay at the Transit Hotel.

Meanwhile, your checked luggage - which is not collected by you - will be rounded up by the airport authorities at placed at 'Lost & Found'.

2. After your stay at Transit Hotel, you need to clear immigration and collect your checked luggage from 'Lost & Found'. It is therefore very important that you keep your checked luggage tabs/stickers.

When I spoke to the Transit Hotel, they told me that none of their guests has reported loss of luggage this way.

3. You'll then proceed to the terminal where your onward flight departs. As all the main terminals are connected, you may either walk or take the Skytrain for any inter-terminal commute.
