Transfer from Singapore Budget terminal to Terminal 3 at 3am

Will a taxi take you from the Singapore Budget Terminal to Crowne Plaza in Terminal 3?

I know there is a shuttle bus to T2 but the sky train does not operate at this time and I have 2 young children. I'd like to come out of the Budget Terminal and just get a taxi to Crowne Plaza but I'm concerned that a driver would be annoyed because it's such a short trip.

3am Taxi Transfer is Possible

Hi Neil

You can definitely ask the taxi driver to take you from Budget Terminal to Crowne Plaza Hotel @ Terminal 3.

One or two of these taxi drivers may grouse about the shortness of the journey. But they are obligated under the terms of their licensing to take passengers to any where in Singapore, including the airport hotel.

Do note that these surcharges still apply:

1. airport surcharge (S$3)

2. past-midnight surcharge
(at 50% of metered fare)

So I don't think the taxi driver should be annoyed!

When the Skytrain is not operational (2.30am-5am), there's a free shuttle service that links all the 3 main terminals. The stops are found at:

Terminal 1 Departure Hall Door 5

Terminal 2 Departure Hall Door 1

Terminal 3 Departure Hall Door 8

Doing 2 shuttle transfers with young children at 3am might be a hassle. But this is another option you could consider.
