1 Litre of Wine Duty Free (with Conditions)
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi there

I understand this from current Singapore customs regulations: you may bring in 1 litre of wine duty free if you have been out of Singapore for at least 48 hours and are not returning from Malaysia.

If the wine you are taking into Singapore exceeds the duty-free allowance of 1 litre, you'll need to pay duty/tax on any amount above 1 litre. This is regardless of whether you've paid duty on the wine overseas.

Note:
Since I don't represent the Singapore Customs, I'm providing this information in an unofficial capacity. You need to contact Singapore Customs directly to get an official stance on this.
