Taking Duty Paid Alcoholic Drinks Through Singapore Airport

How much alcohol (not duty free, for it is bought in Australia with tax) is allowed to be brought via luggage into the Singapore Airport?

Maximum limit not stated; but duties and taxes still apply.

Hi Jade

According to this Singapore Customs page, you need to apply for a Customs permit if you want to bring in more than 10 litres of alcoholic drinks.

However, it does seem that you'll still have to pay duties and taxes for any alcoholic drinks you bring in, whether you've paid duties/taxes in Australia or not.

The best way to find out is to call the Singapore Customs Hotline (+65 6355 2000) and ask them directly.

Note:

I assuming that you are putting the alcoholic drinks in the check-in luggage.

If you want to take any liquid into the plane's cabin, it must be put into transparent bottles no larger than 100ml.
