Singapore Transit: Getting Rest and Storing Luggage

I am arriving in Singapore at midnight, and will leave at 6.30am the next morning by Jetstar Asia to Manila.

I would like to rest at the Transit Lounge or Transit Hotel but I need to get my luggage and check in again. However, the check-in counter will not open until 2 hours before flight. I called the airline and there is nothing for me to do but wait at the departure hall until the check-in counter opens.

It looks like I cannot rest? Thank you.

2 Ways to Rest During Your Singapore Transit

Hi there

There are 2 options for you:

1. Rest First. Clear Immigration Later.

You could stay in the Transit Lounge / Transit Hotel first, without clearing immigration. Meanwhile, your checked-in luggage will be collected and placed at the 'Lost & Found' counter. After you have rested, clear immigration, collect your luggage from 'Lost & Found' and procedure to check-in for your onward flight.

2. Clear Immigration First. Rest Later.

The second option is to clear immigration and collect your luggage first. Then proceed to the Plaza Premium Lounge (Tel: +65 6241 6566) at Level 1/Terminal 3, which is in the public area. You could then use their lounge service, take a shower, and snooze at their napping compartment.

January 2010 Update:
Plaza Premium Lounge at Changi Terminal 3 has stopped operations. Therefore this option is no longer possible.
