Singapore to Malaysia and Back with Visitor Visa?

Hi,

My family is visiting Singapore next month. Their stay is for 10 days. We are intending to go to Malaysia for 2 to 3 days and back to Singapore. Is it possible to travel to Malaysia with the visitor visa and re-enter Singapore after they have previously entered the country?
