Singapore - Kuala Lumpur Tour in 4 Days?

Hi! I am asking for your help on how to make my tour in Singapore and Malaysia an enjoyable one.

I am arriving on November 20,2010 estimated time of arrival is 15:30 Singapore hours and leaving on November 23,2010 time of departure 17:40 Singapore time.

We are two (2) on the said tour and we want to go to Universal Studios and Sentosa Island. We want also to at least have 1 day in Malaysia to view Petronas Tower. Could you please help me or any suggestions on how can I make it in this 4D/3N stay. Thank you and more power.

All-Singapore Stay Recommended

Hi Naidz

Given the short time you have, it's advisable to visit just Singapore and save your trip to Kuala Lumpur for another trip.

You'll lose at least 10 hours to commuting, just to get from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur.

Let me know if this makes sense to you and I'll proceed with a suggested plan.

How to get to Malaysia from Singapore?

Is it safe to travel to Malaysia from Singapore via bus? we wanted to go for a 1 day tour in Malaysia. Our date of arrival is Nov 1, 2010 & will leave Singapore by Nov 5. What is the nearest MRT station to Budget Terminal? How will we get there? As we plan to use MRT to go to our hotel.

1) Day Tour to Malaysia

If you have one day for Malaysia, the furthest you can go and the most you can do is take a day tour to Malacca. Many buses depart from the Golden Mile Complex on Beach Road but you are advised to get your tickets in advance. Set aside at least 3-4 hours for bus travel each way.

Honestly, you'll make better use of your time spending that time in Singapore.

2) Nearest MRT to Singapore Budget Terminal? It's the Changi Airport terminal. Take the free shuttle bus from Budget Terminal to Terminal 2. Then walk down to the MRT station.
