Singapore Airport Customs for Australian Passport Holders

We (Family of five Australians) are stopping in Singapore for 19 hours (arrival at 10 pm) before our flight to the Philippines. Do we need to clear at custom on our way out to the Singapore hotel? Do we need visa?

I assume that you are not using the Singapore Airport's Transit Hotel, which is in the transit area. If such is your case, you need to clear Singapore customs to get to your hotel in the city.

Do we (Australian passport holders) need visas to enter Singapore?

Australians on short social visits - such as your stopover - do not need visas to enter Singapore. (as of 17 Dec 2008)

Pls ensure that your passports, air-tickets and so on are also in order.

Have a pleasant stopover in Singapore.

Transit at Singapore

If your luggage is checked through to your next destination, then you only need to get your hand luggage and check through the Immigration and custom. Visa is waived for Australian passport holders.
