We have a reservation at the Ambassador Transit Hotel and will pay when we check in. Can we pay with US dollars?

Payment with USD OK.
But Better Rates with Money Changer.

Hi Mary

Yes, you may pay for your Transit Hotel stay in US dollars. However, the hotel's exchange rate is likely to be unfavourable to you.

If you are staying in one of the more expensive rooms, it might be worthwhile to exchange for some Singapore dollars first at the money changer within the transit area.

You're likely to get a slightly better rate this way - probably enough to get you an extra cup of coffee or two at the transit mall.
