Longkang Fishing Opportunities in Singapore
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Steven

did you mean to ask where children can do longkang fishing in Singapore? Or are you just making a statement?

Any way, I know of 2 places where children may go longkang fishing in Singapore:

1. Qian Hu Fish Farm (71, Jalan Lekar)

In order to catch the fish in their longkang, you need to buy a ticket and use their nets.

The farm has a free shuttle during the day from Chua Chu Kang Bus Interchange, taking visitors to and from the farm.

2. Stream beside Venus Road Car Park.

There is a stream next the Venus Road Car Park, off Thomson Road. This car park is the starting point of a trail that leads to the MacRitchie Tree Top Walk.

You can find a variety of small fishes in the stream here.
