Left Baggage Versus Checked In Baggage

by Shiv
(Suva, Fiji)

We are staying for 5 days in June in Singapore and then flying to KL for 6 days before coiming back and catching a flight back to Melbourne/Fiji.

Which is cheaper - to put 1 x suitcase in left baggage locker or take it as checked-in baggage via Air Asia flight?

It Depends on Size of Baggage
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Shiv

Left baggage at Singapore Airport costs between S$3.21 to S$10.70 per piece per 24-hour block, depending on the size of baggage. Odd shaped items cost more.

Therefore, it'll cost you between $19.26 and $64.20 to leave a suitcase at Singapore Airport for 6 days.

Air Asia charges S$9 for up to 15kg of checked in baggage and S$13 for up to 20kg each way.

You have to decide whether the saving from taking the baggage onto the plane with you is worth the hassle.
