Leaving Singapore Airport During a Short Transit
by Gail
(Perth, Western Australia)
| Hi there, I have a 4hr transit in Singapore en route from Australia to Philipines and I wish to meet a Singaporean colleague to discuss some business. My luggage will be checked through, but I won't have a boarding pass for the second leg of the trip. This means exiting the airport and returning - what do I need to do? Where do I get my boarding pass for the Singapore-Philipines part of the trip? Thank you. |
Hi Gail
You'll need a boarding pass to get on the second leg of your trip.
The boarding pass for the second leg of a transit flight is normally issued at initial check in. Sometimes, it is issued at the airline's counter within the transit area of the stopover airport.
So ask your airline to issue it to you during initial check in. If they don't, ask for advice on what you need to do at the transit stopover.
