 The Most Enchanting Festivals in Singapore for Visitors

Hi Rose

there are many enjoyable festivals in Singapore.

Some are traditional celebrations that have gone on for many centuries, and have been passed down from places such as India, China, the Middle East, and so on.

Others are started because they are fun or there's a need for them, e.g. the Singapore Flower Festival and the Singapore Arts Festival.

If you force me to list 3 must-see festivals in Singapore, these are the ones:

1. Christmas in Singapore. Caroling, drama, and the Light Up on Orchard Road.

2. Chinese New Year - Lots of performances - Chinese dances and acrobatics. Night market in Chinatown. Lots of fireworks.

3. Thaipusam Festival - Hindu festival where devotees pierce their bodies with sharp objects to fulfill vows.
