Hotel Use During Transit at Singapore Changi Airport

I am arriving from Perth via Tiger Airways at 02.50 and departing Singapore for Taipei, via Eva Air at 13.10 the same day.

Can I use the Transit Hotel in Terminal One for 6-7hrs? If yes, is there a way to proceed from Terminal B to Terminal 1 without going through Customs & Immigration?

Please send instructions.

Early Check-in Possible with Eva Air but...

Hi Leslie

1. the Singapore Budget Terminal is in a separate building from the main terminals, including Terminal 1.

You'll have to clear customs at the Budget Terminal and take the free shuttle bus to Terminal 2 basement.

From there, another shuttle bus (also free) will take you to Terminal 1. Alternatively, you can follow the signs and walk from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1.

(There's a very convenient Skytrain that connects the main terminals but it doesn't operate from 2.30am to 5am.)

2. Eva Air allows early check-in, up to 24 hours before your flight. But at 3am in the morning, their counters may not be manned.

Check if they are open for check-in. If they are, it's straight forward. If they are not open, you'll have to wait till just after 6am (perhaps earlier). Once you have checked in, you could proceed to Terminal 1 Transit Hotel and book a 6-hour block to rest.

Transit Hotel @ Terminal 1 is currently refurbishing some of their facilities. So there might be some noise. But the hotel is operational as per normal.
