Hokkien Mee at Blk 40 Havelock Road

by Sin C.K.
(Singapore)

This stall is located in one of the small 'kopitiams' (coffee shops) just opposite the food market.

Ask around and the people there will guide you. The best part is, the uncle still uses pork lard to fry the noodles - so much for healthy food! But hey it's not everyday right?!

It's lard after all, so eat it when it's hot. This Hokkien Mee stall still gives quite a big serving at $3 although the prawns had shrunk over the years.

Hi Sin C.K.

Thanks for sharing a wonderful tip on Hokkien Mee.

I like noodles a lot and I hope to eventually put together a list of 'Favourite Hokkien Mee Stalls' here. Your tip will help us kick-start this list.
