GST Refund on Air Tickets and Hotel Stay in Singapore?

Sir/Mdm,

I have travelled on Singapore Airlines, booked through the Net. I stayed in Singapore from 05.08.2009 till 09.08.2009. Now, I am in India.

I need to know whether I can claim GST Refund on my air tickets as well as hotel accommodation.

I would be gratefully honored if my questions are answered.

No GST Refund on Services Consumed in Singapore

Hi Manish

You may not claim GST refund on services consumed in Singapore.

Amongst other things, you may not claim GST refund for hotel stays, restaurant bills, airtickets, medical treatments, and other similar services.

The Tourist Refund Scheme is only for bona fide tourists taking newly bought physical goods out of Changi Airport and Seletar Airport only.
