Good Accommodation in Little India

Hi

Could you please advise a good accommodation in Singapore's Little India with reasonable rates. I am travelling with Tiger Airways and have to stay from 4am to 5pm in Singapore. Most of the hotels have a check in and check out time around noon.

I cannot take the Plaza Premium Lounge at the airport since my wife is pregnant and need a private room for a comfortable sleep.

2 Possible Hotels in Singapore Little India

you could consider these 2 hotels in Little India:

1. Hotel 81 Rochor

This hotel is at the junction Mayo Street and Jalan Besar. It is on the edge of Little India and within walking distance to the major sights. The rates start from about S$100.

2. Perak Hotel Singapore

This hotel has also received reasonably good reviews. It is in a vibrant part of Little India, yet is on Perak Street, which is shielded from all the busyness. Their rates start from about S$148.

Most hotels have a check in time of 2pm and a check out time of 12noon. If you are checking out later, you'll need to check directly with the hotel. Some hotels may allow a grace period of 2 hours if they are not fully booked. Others will ask you to pay a full second night's rate or a late check out rate.

I hope you find a suitable hotel. Have a good stopover.

Try Parkroyal on Kitchener Road

There is a good hotel on Kitchener Road which was called "New Park Hotel", but has been changed to Hotel Parkroyal on Kitchener Road. The rooms are good and the place is clean and comfortable. Check out the website www.parkroyalhotels.com for the cheapest rate.
