Featuring New Attractions on eTour Singapore

by Jess
(Hong Kong)

Apart from catching up with friends and relatives, Singaporeans returning from overseas for home leave may be interested to catch up on "what's new?" (eg. Singapore Flyer, F1 Race)and to experience them.

Is there an avenue to capture such newbies on eTour Singapore?

Yes! All Attractions Should be Featured on eTour Singapore
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Jess

thanks for your feedback. Indeed, a few people have asked me why I have left out this or that festival. Or why I have completely ignored an enjoyable spot.

Ultimately, I'd like to feature all the nice spots here. But this website is a one-man operation and I have limited time and energies. As I 'tortoise' along, more and more stuff will go online ;-)

Also, not every spot I look at make their way onto eTour Singapore. For every 4 places I review, I only feature 3.

If I find that a place is not up to scratch, I won't feature it here just yet. I also don't completely knock them down here, except for the perpetually dishonest shops.

Almost always, I'd call up the relevant people first and tell them what I think. They are often appreciative of such feedback.

Then a few months later, I'll go back again and take a look. I'm a home-proud Singaporean, and I don't intend to cannibalise my own kind.

Of course, I don't know everything. That's why I have created a Readers' Stories section, so that everyone can share.

Do you know about a nice spot in Singapore? How about sharing about it with us?
