Eligibility for Free Singapore Tour

Hi,

My parents are travelling to India via Singapore through Singapore Airlines. They have a wait time for almost 8hrs during daytime for their connecting flight. Are they eligible to take a free singapore local tour?

thanks in advance,
Shan

Free Singapore Tour for Transit Passengers with More than 5 Hours
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Shan

The tourism board runs a free city tour for transit passengers at Singapore Airport with at least 5 hours to spare.

As your parents have 8 hours, they may qualify for the free city tour departing from Singapore Airport.

Please note that this tour is subject to conditions such as having:

1. a valid passport,

2. a valid visa to enter Singapore (or holding a passport that exempts the traveller from needing a visa to enter Singapore),

3. a valid onward flight ticket, et cetera.

Advise your parents to approach the Singapore Visitors' Centre in the transit area. The staff will let them know if they are eligible for the free tour.

More information about the free Singapore tour.

Kind regards.
