Duty Free Cigarettes at Singapore Airport?

If I purchase duty free cigarettes from Melbourne Airport, can I take them to Singapore during my 2 hour stopover onwards to Germany and then Croatia?

Just Transiting? No Problem with Your Cigarettes.
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Terri

1. If you are just transiting at Singapore Airport - i.e. you are not leaving the transit / departure area - you may hold on to your cigarettes. No problem.

2. For anyone else who want to want to clear immigration and enter Singapore - e.g. for a city tour - you'll need to leave your cigarettes at the left luggage facility in the transit / departure zone. This will cost just a few dollars.

You'll then claim your cigarettes before you fly off again.
