Is there any GST imposed if I bring in a desktop computer into Singapore?

GST on Desktop Computer in Singapore

Hi Chee Lim

assuming

(i) you're 18 years old or above,

(ii) you have been out of Singapore for more than 48 hours,

(iii) and the GST-payable on your desktop computer is less than S$300,

you do not need to pay GST on your desktop computer.

*GST-payable = 0.07 X Purchase Price of Desktop Computer (converted to SGD)

Keep your receipt for verification.
