Cost estimate for a Singapore tour

Hi there

How much you'll spend on a Singapore tour depends on:

1. where you want to stay,
2. where you want to eat,
3. and what you want to do.

If you can provide more details, like where you want to go, is it with kids, etc, I'll be able to give you a better estimate.

But here's a rough guide:

Cheapest Day Expenditure in Singapore:

1. Stay at backpacker hostel
(a bed in a shared room)
= S$25

2. Food, all meals at hawkers' centres
(about $4-5 per meal)
= S$15

3. Sight see free spots
(mainly walking tours)
= S$5 to S$25 for public transport + misc.

Total for cheapest Singapore tour:
S$45 to S$60 per day

Luxury Day Expenditure in Singapore:

1. Stay at 5-star hotel
= S$350 to S$450 per night

2. Food:
breakfast at hotel +
other meals at restaurants
= S$100

3. Private guided tours
= S$150 to S$300 per day

Total for luxury Singapore tour:
S$600 to S$850 per day

The costs above are estimates, based on an adult travelling alone.

If you plan on visiting Malaysia for a few days, the cost per day will be about half to 2/3 of that in Singapore.

You could join one of the following Singapore day tours:

1. Singapore Hop On Hop Off Tour

A open-top double-decker bus takes you to major sights in the city. You hop off when you fancy a place and hop on when a subsequent bus comes again.

2. Sentosa Xperiential Tour

A self-guided tour of Sentosa Island, with island entrance and transport included. Plus some surprise inclusions.

A budget of S$650 is very comfortable for your itinerary, assuming it's for one person and your accommodation has been paid for.

Cost for 4 Days 3 Nights Singapore Tour

I'm plannng for a visit in Singapore for 4D&3N, I already paid my accommodation. How much will it cost me for the whole trip in SG (food, tour, shopping)? And another thing, kindly suggest me an itinerary for the whole trip. thank you.

If you have carefully read through this thread, you'd realise by now it's impossible to put a cost on your Singapore tour in a vacuum. It can range from $50 to $500,000 a day, if you do not say where you'd want to go.
