Cigarettes and Liquor During Singapore - Malaysia Transfer

If we travel from South Africa to Singapore, stay for two nights and then proceed to Malaysia where we are allowed more cigarettes - is there a place at the airport where we can safely store the excess cigarettes and collect it again before flying to Malaysia, without having to pay the 35.2 cents per cigarette?

If so, can we also deposit the liquor that we want to take to Malaysia there?

Left Baggage Available at
Singapore Airport Transit Area

Hi Mariette

There are left baggage counters in the transit area of all 3 main terminals of Singapore Airport.

You could leave your cigarettes and liquor at the left baggage counter for a fee ($3.21 to $10.70 per bag per 24-hour block).

If you are using the Singapore Budget Terminal, however, there's no way you could store your cigarettes and liquor without having to take them through customs.
