I was eating dinner at a food centre near Eunos MRT Station - when I chanced upon these Chinese New Year lanterns. What a treat!
A lantern to usher in the Year of the Tiger.
Horse lantern.
The God of Fortune and an accompanying tiger.
These displays will go on until 27 Feb 2010.
There are, of course, the familiar Chinese New Year celebrations in downtown Singapore.
But a lot seems to be going on in the heartlands as well:
