CNY Bazaar at Bishan
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi there

I got the following information from the Lifestyle section of The Sunday Times (31 Jan 2010):

From now till 28 Feb 2010, there will be a Chinese New Year Bazaar at the open field near the Bishan Bus Interchange.

600 stalls will operate from 10am to 10pm daily, with extended hours till 1am on Chinese New Year's Eve (night of 13 Feb 2010).

This seems like a massive affair with the following events planned:

1. Electronics and car fair

2. Amusement park

3. Nightly stage performances.

There are also are Chinese New Year carnivals at other heartland town centres, from now until 1 or 2 days before Chinese New Year 2010. These town centres include:

1. Marine Parade Central,

2. Jurong West (Hong Kah Point), and

3. Serangoon North Village (Blks 151-154).
