I wonder where we can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner close to The Hive Backpackers' Hostel located on Lavender Street - near junction with Serangoon Road.

And are there also supermarket nearby where we can buy items like milk, cookies, chips, bottled water, etc?

Food Centres Around Lavender Street

Cheap Singapore Food Around Lavender Street

You'll find cheap local food at the following places:

1. Bendemeer Road Blk 29 Food Centre

Walk along Serangoon Road in the direction of traffic for about 5-10 minutes to the Boon Keng MRT Station. This food centre is just behind the MRT Station.

2. Lavender Food Square

This food centre is found at the junction of Jalan Besar and Lavender Street, about 5 minutes' walk from The Hive Backpackers' Hostel.

Supermarket Around Lavender Street

There aren't any major supermarkets around that area. However, there are there's a market and lots of groceries shops around the Food Centre at Blk 29 Bendemeer Road.
