I am transitting at the Singapore airport for few hours. Could I carry in my hand luggage 2 bottles of wine which I am going to buy at the Sydney airport duty free?

Duty-free Wine in Sealed Bag Should be Fine
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi Raji

1. if you are not leaving the transit area at Singapore Airport, and

2. if your wine is in an approved, specially sealed bag from Sydney Airport duty-free shop,

you should be able to take your wine with you for your connecting flight to India.

I suggest you verify this at Sydney before you buy your wine.

Also, Singapore allows only one litre of wine duty-free. Does Sydney Airport allow 2 bottles? Two 750ml bottles of wine will exceed the 1-litre limit, if Sydney has a similar limit.

Have a pleasant stopover in Singapore.
