Can I Bring Durians to Singapore?

I would like to go to Jakarta but I have to check out from the airport and continue to Jakarta with my durian. Can I bring durian from Cambodia to Singapore and from Singapore to Jakarta?

The AVA website indicates that small hand-carried amounts of fruit or vegetables for personal consumption are allowed. (Additional requirements if they from the American tropics.)

However, do note that a liking for durians is an acquired taste. Some people hate even the slightest smell of it. So check with your airline whether it allows durians into the cabin.
