Issue about Liquor from Malaysia
by: Gabriel Tan

Hi John
You can take that 1 litre of brandy (or any alcoholic drink classified as 'liquor') through Singapore Airport if

1. you are arriving from a country other than Malaysia,
2. you are 18 years old and above,
3. you have been outside of Singapore for more than 48 hours.

If you are arriving from any airport in Malaysia, you'll need to pay the duty on alcoholic drinks.

This applies to other alcoholic drinks as well - namely wine and beer. Each passenger is allowed to take 1 litre of wine and 1 litre of beer into Singapore duty free if the 3 conditions above are met.

Best regards.
