Staying in Changi Terminal vs. Budget Terminal
by: cosntina

We are planning on taking Air Asia from Bali to Singapore (arriving Terminal 1) and then have to connect 3 1/2 hours later on Cebu Pacific (Budget Terminal) from Singapore to Clark.

Because there is so much more to do in Changi Airport than the budget terminal, is it somehow possible for us to stay in Changi Airport for at least 2 hours after we arrive and then move to the Budget Terminal for our Cebu Pacific flight? We will have 2 checked in suitcases.

Thanks for any information and advice you can give me regarding this.

You probably have 1 hour maximum if you want to linger on at Terminal 1. Remember to factor in immigration clearance, luggage collection and check in time.

Changi is a very efficient airport. But even with 3.5 hours between flights, it's possible to screw up your departure!

Thanks for the info

Your info on which Terminal is a big help. It's now September 2011 and the terminal is still not indicated on the Air Asia ticket.
