Air Asia Check In Baggage

I have booked an Airasia Flight + Hotel package. However, this eticket does not stated whether it includes check in baggage or not.

I have tried to log in to "Manage My Booking" but it prompted me error message. I tried emailing the customer service but their advice to me is "Website having problem, try again another day".

I only want to make sure I will have check in baggage for my 2-way flight but it seems like the Airasia customer service does not bother at all. Can anyone tell me whether check in baggage is included in the airticket? If not, pls let me know what is the procedure?

Air Asia's basic air ticket price does not include any baggage allowance. So if you have not selected any check-in baggage package during booking, you will not be able to check in any baggage at all.

If you later decide to check in baggage at the airport, you are then only eligible for the 15kg baggage package - at a higher price than if you had opted for it during online booking.

Exorbitant rates

My travel agent has not done his homework properly
and he has not checked my luggage. Your excess luggage is costing more than my air fare that is 20 rm /kg that is my 54 kg luggage alltogether for two tickets costs me how much now. why such a sucsessfull airline and a efficient one is charging so much. i think your management has to seriously take note and bring down the rates so as the customer does not travel by any other airline

This is NOT the official website for Air Asia and you're better of directing your concerns to Air Asia directly.

Please also note that excess luggage in ANY airline invariably comes with a high fee and you should expect this to be the norm for air travel.
