I have learned a lot from you about Singapore but never had I encountered anything that talks about Universal Studios Singapore. Are there tours that include a ticket to it and is it fully operational?

Universal Studios Singapore - Easy to Enjoy

Hi Earl

You don't need to join a tour to enjoy Universal Studios Singapore.

It is easy to get to with public transport. Take the MRT to Harbourfront Station. Exit, walk over to Vivo City Shopping Centre Level 3. From there, you may take the Sentosa Express (monorail train) to Universal Studios.

Universal Studios Singapore is fully operational now. There are 18 rides but I believe one or two of these are under maintenance at the moment.

In due time, I'll be writing an article about the theme park. In the mean time, you may want to check out the Universal Studios Singapore website.

Travel to and from Airport to Universal Studios

Hi Jamie,
can you tell me the best way for 4 adults to get from airport to Universal Studios and return. Should we use public transport, private car or shuttle bus (if there is one)

Take the taxi, for a hassle-free direct route all the way to Universal Studios. Also there's cost saving for since the fare is shared by the maximum of 4 passengers.

Universal Studios - Transport In & Out

My family, 18adults and 6kids, are going to universal studios. We are planning to rent a bus to bring us into Universal Studios and then take the train going home. How do we go out from Universal by train? Do we still have to buy the $3 Sentosa ticket to go to Vivo?

Getting to USS from Singapore Airport

Hi! Can you tell me how I can go to Universal Studios from the budget airport terminal? Also, is Sentosa Express included in the unlimited MRT rides for STP? Thanks!

As mentioned in my earlier post, if you have a few people (2-4 pax) the easiest way to get into Universal Studios is by taxi.

Else, if you want to trade off time for some cash saving, take the MRT:

1) Free shuttle bus from Budget Terminal to Terminal 2.

2) MRT: Airport Station > Tanah Merah > Outram > Harbourfront.

3a) Walk over to Vivo City and take the Sentosa Express from Level 3.

OR

3b) Take RWS8 bus from bus stop outside Harbourfront Station.

OR

3c) Exit Harbourfront Station and walk along the Sentosa Boardwalk to the Studios.

As you can see, it's up and down the bus, in and out and in and out of trains, walk again, and my gosh...

The Sentosa Express in not included in the Singapore Tourist Pass.

Universal Studios & Sentosa in 1 Day?

I would like to say thanks for your efforts and providing such detail informations for visitors like me...

Will look forward to read your article on theme parks? Is that possible to cover Universal Studios and Sentosa Island in one day? we are not interested in Underwater world but will go for Sentosa Luge & Skyride and Songs of the Sea.

You need a full day at Universal Studios, to make your ticket worth it. Some people run out time, so 4 hours is an absolute minimum - but paying S$66/72 for 4 hours at USS is a waste of money, in my opinion.

So if you have 1 day, you could do something like this:

10am-5pm: Universal Studios

5-6pm: Dinner

6-7pm: Sentosa Luge and Skyride

7.40pm or 8.40pm: Songs of the Sea

How much budget do i need to have for a weekend trip USS?

My kids wanted to visit USS can anyone inform me how much budget do i need to have for a weekend trip to USS.. friday saturday & sunday - Monday back to manila. we are 4 adults and 1 kid. I would be glad to hear from all your advice thank you very much..

PS: Budget - Plane ticket hotel stay fares and foods .. thank you again..
