My husband and I would be staying 5 nights in Sentosa starting December 28th, and we would appreciate any daily sight-seeing plans/itineraries as we are bad in time management.

We would like to visit the mainland as well. We like to explore new things and at the same time we hope for a romantic holiday together :) Thank you.

A Multi-day Romantic Singapore Tour Plan Coming Up!

Hi Lily

almost a week of romance in Singapore! Awesome ;-)

Over the next few days, I'll put together a more complete Singapore tour plan, with emphasis on romance. Do check back in a week for the itinerary.

Meanwhile, here are 2 suggestions to whet your appetite...

1. Take the Sentosa Luge and Skyride at night. You go up a hill on the Skyride, riding a chair-lift and cuddling your hubby ;-) Enjoy the night breeze and look down. You'll see the lights from the 'Songs of the Sea' Show and the twinkling Singapore nightscape.

Then you go downhill on the Luge, go-cart style. Or take the Skyride down again.

2. Have a seafood dinner at The Cliff @ Sentosa Resort, and enjoy the twilight over the South China Sea.

2. Escape from the afternoon heat at one of the following high tea buffets:

Important Note:
There are no restaurants nor eateries on St John's Island. So remember to take your own food and drinks along!

New Year's Eve 31 Dec 2008 Tour Plan:

Morning:
Sleep in late.

Late afternoon - Evening:
- MRT to Marina Bay Station (NS27)
- Free shuttle to the Marina Barrage
(recreational area of the new Marina Bay Reservoir)
- Enjoy the New Year's Eve Fair: food & games stalls

Evening - Past Midnight:
- Enjoy the Marina Bay Countdown & Fireworks
- Either at the Barrage or get tickets for the Marina Bay Countdown Show @ Marina Bay Floating Platform.

Thanks for the tour plans, Gabriel :) St John's Island especially sounds nice. Didn't know it existed prior to this.

Hopefully too, when we are in Singapore, are able to catch the Christmas lights at Orchard Road and Clarke Quay. Hopefully the decorations are still there.

Orchard Road Christmas Light Up Runs Till 2 Jan 09!

the Orchard Road Christmas Light Up runs until 2 Jan 09. So you'll get to see it. Just set aside one of the nights.

As a visitor, you may also sign up for the free open-top bus tour. This tour takes you through the Light Up area.

If you are flying in, you may request for your tickets from Visitors' Centre at the airport. You may also get your tickets at the Visitors' Centre on Orchard Road - near the junction with Cairnhill Road.
