I have the following plans in mind.can you please suggest me some more Day 1 (Wednesday – Oct 13) Arrival: 3.30 pm Visit Night Safari Day 2 (Thursday) Merlion and Sentosa Island Day 3 (Friday) Half Day - Universal Studios Late Evening - Clarke Quay Day 4 (Saturday) 1. Snow City 2. Singapore Zoo DAY 5 (Sunday 17 Oct) Leave. Now can you please help us - how can we accommodate Orchard Road and Little India? And also where to eat since we are pure vegetarian? Hope you can help. Thanks! |
Hi Piyush
I've re-arranged your Singapore tour itinerary so that you visit nearby attractions in succession and cut down on commute time.
So here's my counter-suggestion:
DAY 1 - MERLION PARK & CLARKE QUAY
After settling in to your accommodation, take the MRT to Raffles Place. Here, you start a leisurely walking tour of the Singapore River, taking in sights such as the Merlion Park and Clarke Quay. There should be sufficient time for a bit of shopping at The Central (mall) and chilling out at a riverside cafe near Clarke Quay.
DAY 2 - UNIVERSAL STUDIOS & SENTOSA ISLAND ATTRACTIONS
Universal Studios Singapore is located on Sentosa Island. So you could allocate their earlier part of the day for Universal Studios and, for the the rest of the day, selectively see a few other Sentosa attractions.
DAY 3 - SNOW CITY, SINGAPORE ZOO & NIGHT SAFARI
Begin the day at Snow City. The activity is leisurely and should leave you still energetic for the Singapore Zoo and Singapore Night Safari, which are next door neighbours.
Transport: Taxi to Snow City and from Snow City to Singapore Zoo.
DAY 4 - ORCHARD ROAD & LITTLE INDIA
Day 4 begins with a late morning shopping tour to Orchard Road, followed by lunch and more shopping.
Late afternoon or early evening, take the MRT to Little India.
Culminate your Singapore tour with a nice dinner at one of the rest vegetarian restaurants here and some night shopping at Mustafa Centrer
VEGETARIAN RESTAURANTS IN SINGAPORE
Almost every shopping mall in Singapore will have a food court, usually on the top-most or basement level.
If you are not too particular, you can usually find some vegetarian options in these food courts.
However, here are some worthwhile vegetarian restaurants near the places you're visiting in Singapore:
Orchard Road:
1) Lingzhi Vegetarian Restaurant
(Liat Towers #05-01, nearest MRT: Orchard)
2) Classic Lao Di Fang
(Park Mall #B1-12, nearest MRT: Dhoby Ghaut)
3) Nutri Hub @ Cuppage Plaza #B2-25
(Meals before 7pm, nearest MRT: Somerset)
Little India:
1) Ananda Bhavan Restaurant (58 Serangoon Road)
2) The Banana Leaf Apolo (48 Serangoon Road)
3) Komala's (330 Serangoon Road)
More vegetarian dining options coming up...
Have a good Singapore tour.
