| Hi, this is Amit from India. I am planning to visit Singapore with my wife between 2nd and 5th of December 2010. I would be staying in the hotel at Orchard Road and planning to travel Singapore with public transport. THe attractions that I am planning to visit are - Singapore Zoo - Singapore Flyer - Singapore River Boat Ride - Jurong Bird Park - Botanic Gardens (Optional) - Universal Studios - Sentosa 4-D Magix Could you please let me know if it is possible to accomodate all these attractions in a 3 Day Tour of Singapore? If so, could you please help me with itinerary for the same? Thanks, Amit |
Hi Amit
Yes, you could possibly see these places in Singapore within a 4-day-3-night tour of Singapore.
Here's a suggested itinerary:
Day 1 - Singapore River (Cruise & Sightseeing) + Singapore Flyer
You could start with a Singapore River cruise to get a feel of the area around the River.
Then, with whatever time you still have, you check out the sights near Singapore River and Clarke Quay Singapore.
Nearer the evening, take a taxi or a long, leisurely walk to the Singapore Flyer, which is in the Marina Bay area.
Day 2 - Botanic Gardens + Singapore Zoo
Allow a leisurely morning at the Botanic Gardens, making sure not to miss the National Orchid Gardens located with the Gardens.
Lunch could be had at one of the eateries/restaurants within the Botanic Gardens, or at the Dempsey Road restaurant cluster just across the road.
Take a taxi so that you are in time to see the afternoon shows at the Singapore Zoo. If you still feel energetic after that, the Singapore Night Safari is just next door and really worth a visit.
Day 3 - Universal Studios & Sentosa 4D Magix
Allow the larger part of the day at Universal Studios. Then the Sentosa 4D Magix show is just one stop away at Imbiah Station on the Sentosa Express (monorail).
Day 4 - Jurong Bird Park
Day 4 being your departure day, you might want to engage Porter Xpress to sent your luggage to the airport in the morning. This will save you from having to go back to your hotel to retrieve your luggage. You could then collect your luggage from their counter at the airport.
Jurong Bird Park is pretty out of the way. Public transport is possible but very time-consuming. So it's worth paying the taxi fare to get you there and back.
Have a great tour of Singapore.
